Housing Court Mediation Training: Help Tenants & Landlords Access COVID Rental Assistance & Settle Disputes
Tuesday, June 29, 2021 | 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. | REGISTER HERE
Once the eviction moratorium is lifted, California courts expect a tsunami of eviction cases. Join this training and give back to those in need by:
·Becoming a volunteer mediator;-Referring landlords and tenants to organizations that can help them apply for rental assistance;
·Sign up to be a Remote Attorney of the Day to help unrepresented tenants or landlords during the course of the mediation.
Please join our free remote MCLE training on eviction law and on mediation. Make a real difference to the litigants and to the Courts, and gain valuable experience (all from
the comfort of your home!). Mediations will take place remotely in various county courts Monday through Saturday, at various times, and you can schedule yourself as convenient. We ask for a commitment of at least 4 mediation sessions (4 hours each) over the course of this calendar year. Attorneys licensed in California are eligible, and malpractice insurance is provided.
